This e-learning course explains how to create and use MeasureMind® 3D routines. It covers:

• User interface design
• Available software tools
• How to get started
• How to set up a part for measurement
• How to measure and construct features
• How to output measurement results
• How to create, run, and edit inspection routines

This course is current with MeasureMind® 3D software version 16.1.82.

Course Requirements

You should have a working knowledge of the following topics, which are not covered in this training:

• XYZ coordinate systems
• Reading blueprints (dimension drawings)
• Basics of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) (recommended)

Course Description

After completing this course, you will be able to:

• Turn on and operate the video measuring machine
• Select appropriate targets for manual alignments and measurements
• Select appropriate tools to analyze and measure features automatically
• Set up a part for measurements and define datums
• Inspect part features using the Measure and Construct functions
• View measurement results in the Model window
• Create, save, and run inspection routines
• Enter nominal and tolerance values from dimension drawings
• Edit inspection routines by changing, copying, inserting, and deleting steps
• Generate output indicating in-tolerance and out-of-tolerance conditions
• Use the online Help system to find desired information
